Actor Vincent Marzello, who was seen in two James Bond films and The Witches, has died aged 68.

His wife, actor Lorelei King, announced the news on social media on Tuesday.

“The love of my life, my darling husband Vincent Marzello, died this morning,” she wrote.

“To those who knew him, I am sorry to post the news rather than contact you personally, but I am overwhelmed. My heart is broken.”

King has publicly discussed Marzello’s diagnoses with young-onset dementia and cancer. She has acted as an ambassador for Dementia UK.

A Brooklyn native, Marzello started out in the Seventies with a few TV credits, before appearing in the Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977 as USS Wayne Crewman.

He returned to the Bond franchise in 1983 in Never Say Never Again as Culpepper.

Marzello portrayed Luke’s father Mr Eveshim in The Witches, the 1990 dark fantasy comedy based on Roald Dahl’s 1983 novel of the same name.

King and Marzello, both US natives, had relocated to London together.
