VIJAYAWADA: A 55-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to frequent quarrels with her husband in Putluru mandal of Ananthapur district on Sunday. Sources said that Ramanjanamma’s husband Nadipi Ranga Reddy had an argument with her over some issues in the afternoon. Later the same day, she consumed sleeping pills when no one was at home. Locals rushed Ramanjanamma to Tadipati hospital for treatment. However, while she was being shifted to Anantapur for better treatment, she died. The deceased is survived by two daughters and a son. Police said no complaint has been received yet.
