Video clip shows silky skills Arsenal man could bring to Nottingham Forest

If some of his skills in training are anything to go by, it wouldn’t just be another defensive option which Konstantinos Mavropanos would bring to Nottingham Forest.

The Arsenal centre-back has been linked with a move to the City Ground, with reports in Greece suggesting the Reds have moved ahead of fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned club Olympiacos in the running for his signature.

It is said a loan switch to Trentside could be an option for the Greek as he has struggled for game time at the Emirates.

Mavropanos joined the London club in January 2018 but has featured just seven times in the Premier League.

A groin injury hampered him in the 2018/19 campaign and a similar problem hindered his start to this season.

But as he was making his comeback, Mavropanos was showing the kind of silky moves he possesses on the training pitch.

A clip he posted on social media back in October shows him coolly getting the better of teammate Mattero Gunedouzi before curling a delightful effort into the back of the net.

Should the 22-year-old end up heading to Trentside, he would join up with former teammate Carl Jenkinson, who joined from the Gunners in the summer.
