Victoria records no new coronavirus cases or deaths for 23rd day straight

This is the 23rd day in a row Victoria has recorded no new cases.

Victoria has continued its streak of double-zero days, with no new coronavirus cases or deaths recorded since yesterday.

Health authorities have received 10,530 test results since yesterday's update.

There is still one active case in the state.

Health Minister Martin Foley yesterday said the person with an active infection was in hospital, making a "slow but steady recovery".

Today is the 23rd day in a row Victoria has recorded no COVID-19 cases or deaths.

Premier Daniel Andrews is scheduled to hold a press conference at 10:30am AEDT, to announce the next stage of Victoria's reopening road map.

Some expected changes include increasing the limit on gatherings, and expanding the patron cap at indoor venues.
