The intu Victoria Centre has been forced to close its multi-storey car park while police investigate a serious assault in the area.
A large stretch of Mansfield Road has been cordoned off after police were called to a serious assault in Union Road at 7.40pm on Saturday, September 14.
The bus station near the intu Victoria Centre has been closed as well as the entrance to Cairn Street.
Nigel Wheatley, centre director for intu Victoria Centre, said: "We’re sorry but our York Street car park entrance and multi-storey car park are currently closed.
"Customers can still use our main car park accessible via Glasshouse Street and the centre is open as usual."
