Victoria Beckham shared an emotional post to her parents on Monday amid reports she “made Nicola Peltz cry” at her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham.
There have been growing rumours of a feud between Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, and the rest of the Beckhams after the couple missed multiple family events in recent months.
In a new twist last week, fashion designer Victoria, 51, was accused of hijacking Nicola’s wedding dance to Brooklyn at their lavish Palm Beach wedding in 2022.
The former Spice Girl’s “inappropriate” behaviour at the glamorous nuptials allegedly led to Nicola “running from the room crying”.
Amid the speculation, Victoria shared a heartfelt tribute to her parents, Jackie and Anthony Adams, on her Instagram story.
She posted a photo of them posing on the street at night-time, writing: “So chic. I love you both so much!!”
Victoria also shared sweet snaps of her husband David, 50, cuddling up to the family dogs.
In one shot, the former England captain cradled their black cocker spaniel Olive on the sofa. In another, he held their cockapoo Simba in his arms in the kitchen.
Last week, Victoria was accused of trying to “ruin” Nicola’s wedding to Brooklyn.
"Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding," a source told People.
"Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, 'The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up... Victoria Beckham!'"
Another source claimed Victoria started slow dancing with her son, saying, “it wasn’t appropriate” and adding: “Nicola ran from the room crying.”
The insider claimed: "Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn't understand was why."
However, others shared a different version of events, claiming Marc Anthony called Victoria up to dance with Brooklyn and David to dance with their daughter Harper, 13.
The source told The Sun that Brooklyn and Nicola’s first dance happened after the speeches and reception dinner.
They said: "After this, Nicola had a dance with her father, Nelson, which is normally when the groom would dance with his mum, but for whatever reason that didn’t happen.
"Much later, as a gift to the couple, Marc Anthony performed a few songs and everyone got up to dance.
"As part of this he pulled his best friends David and Victoria up on stage with him and then grabbed Brooklyn to dance with his mum and Harper danced with David, Cruz also got up with Eva Longoria as I recall. It was a fun family moment and one dance.”
The Standard contacted representatives for Victoria and Nicola at the time.
Brooklyn and Nicola, who live in Los Angeles, raised eyebrows in April when they failed to attend Victoria’s 51st birthday in Miami.
They also skipped David’s lavish 50th birthday party in London last month, which was attended by Brooklyn’s siblings Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.
The couple snubbed the party despite being in the capital at the time and also missed David’s festivities in the Cotswolds and in Paris.
Brooklyn intensified speculation by saying he will “always choose” Nicola in a tribute to his partner on Instagram last week.
