Victoria Beckham appeared to avoid using her eldest son, Brooklyn’s name when asked about him in a recent interview, amid their ongoing family feud.
The 27-year-old has distanced himself from his celebrity parents, accusing them of “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
Speaking in a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, the Spice Girls star, 51, was asked about Brooklyn, whom she shares with husband, retired soccer star David Beckham.
The outlet noted that in her response, she did not mention his name.
“I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much,” Victoria said. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
David and Victoria have been married since 1999 and share two other sons, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, and a daughter, Harper, 14.
Brooklyn, an aspiring chef, wed heiress and model Nicola Peltz, 31, in 2022.
In January, he launched an astonishing attack on his parents in a lengthy Instagram post, claiming he has been “controlled by a family that value public promotion above all else.”
He insisted that he has no wish to reconcile with his family and is “standing up” for himself “for the first time” in his life.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into,” Brooklyn wrote.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always come out.”

He claimed: “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
He further alleged in his post that his mother, Victoria, had “canceled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”
Brooklyn also confirmed previous reports that his mother “hijacked” the first dance at the wedding, writing: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Anthony has since spoken out, refuting Brooklyn’s claims that he controversially invited Victoria to have the first dance at Brooklyn’s wedding.
The Grammy-winning singer told The Hollywood Reporter in February that it’s “extremely unfortunate” how the situation has “played out,” but added that what has been claimed is “hardly the truth.”
