Victoria Beckham gives rare parenting insight as she says daughter Harper 'isn't allowed out the house'

Victoria Beckham has given a rare insight into her parenting style as she shared at what moments her daughter Harper Seven 'isn't allowed out the house'. The former Spice Girl has revealed that she won’t let her 11-year-old out of the house with make-up on – despite her being "good" at it.

Fashion designer Victoria, who also owns her own beauty company, Victoria Beckham Beauty, has confessed that her only daughter with her husband David Beckham, is only allowed to wear make-up in the house.

Victoria, who rose to prominence in the nineties as a member of girl group The Spice Girls but later turned her hand to the worlds of fashion and beauty, made the admission during a candid chat about her beauty business.

The 49-year-old revealed she takes little Harper on business trips with her and gets her involved with research for her company and told how her daughter has become something of an expert in make-up application already.

The mother-of-four told The Sunday Times: "She’s been able to do a full face and contour for quite some time. She’s good at doing it very naturally." She added: "Going to Space NK is her favourite treat after school. If she does well in a test I’ll take her to the one down the road — it’s her favourite thing.

"She’s obsessed." Victoria also spoke about how she embraces her own look at age 49 but admitted that her husband, former England footballer and Manchester United legend, has never seen her without her eyebrows done.

Asked how she feels about ageing, she told The Sunday Times: "I am comfortable with who I am, I accept how I look, I make the best of what I have. I feel, professionally and personally, really accomplished at 49. I consider how I apply my make-up. But I like how it feels being older.

"I wouldn’t want to be 25 again. I was the kind of young woman who would look in the mirror and see what needed to be improved upon, as opposed to what actually looked OK."

She continued: "I’ve always been quite tough on myself, but because of that I’ve also always strived to be the best version of myself. It’s not about changing anything, it’s just about looking at the best version of yourself."

However, she admitted that she fell victim to the over-plucked eyebrow style and now drawing on her eyebrows is the first thing she does every morning. Over the years my brows have been so overplucked that if you saw me without it you’d be horrified”, she said. David has never seen me without my brows. They’re the first thing I do: wake up, put on the brow."
