Victoria and David Beckham appear to be signalling a thaw in the reported family rift with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
The couple quietly liked the 26-year-old’s recent Instagram post, marking a rare public show of support after months of speculation over a strained relationship.
Rumours of tension have circulated for nearly a year, fuelled by Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz’s absence from a series of significant Beckham family events, including David’s 50th, to Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week shows.
The pair also skipped the London premiere of Victoria’s Netflix documentary earlier this year, despite attending the premiere of David’s documentary in 2023.
The subtle social-media engagement — a like on a video of Brooklyn making buttermilk pancakes — has been interpreted by fans as a gesture of reconciliation.
The couple, who wed in 2022 at an extravagant ceremony in Palm Beach, also reportedly did not invite members of the Beckham family to their lavish vow renewal in Westchester County this summer.

His siblings Romeo and Cruz have unfollowed him on Instagram, although Brooklyn did publicly wish his youngest sister Harper a happy birthday in July, sharing a family photo captioned: “Happy birthday Harper we love u x.”
The hot sauce entrepreneur has largely remained silent on the speculation, but when approached by a reporter about his mother’s series, he avoided comment despite answering other questions.
"There's always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife," he told the Daily Mail.
"Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy. Everyone is always going to say rubbish."
Rumours of a rift first emerged in 2022, with reports suggesting it began around the couple’s wedding — particularly when Nicola wore Valentino rather than a gown from Victoria’s fashion label.

Social-media speculation also resurfaced about whether Brooklyn once briefly dated Romeo’s now on-off girlfriend Kim Turnbull; both Cruz and Turnbull dismissed the claims online.
For her part, Victoria is adamant that the Beckham brood is as close as ever, as she shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
"I mean, we're such a close family and, you know, communication is key and we always let them know that anything that they want to talk about, you know, this is a safe forum. You know, that's really important," she said, adding that kids still had to "go on their journeys themselves."
“We've always been that way with the kids. And I'm excited for them, they're all very different. They all like to do different things," she continued.
