To this day, Nikola Jokic has not yet been featured as an NBA 2K cover athlete despite achieving multiple accolades throughout the past years.

According to Basket News, the cover announcement follows an impressive postseason run that elevated Wembanyama's profile even further. During his first playoff appearance, the 7-foot-4 center averaged 23.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game while shooting 51 percent from the field.
Wemby's dominance was particularly evident during the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Across the seven-game series, Wembanyama averaged 27.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 2.7 blocks per game, delivering elite performances on both ends of the floor.
Those efforts earned him unanimous Western Conference Finals MVP honors and solidified his reputation as one of basketball's brightest young stars.
