A police investigation has been launched after a man was attacked on a busy Dundee street.
The 57-year-old victim was smacked in the head and on the body by two men on Happyhillock Road at around 6.30pm on Monday, July 5.
It is not known whether the man required any medical treatment after the incident.
Investigators say they are following a positive line of enquiry to trace the individuals responsible.
But they’re appealing for any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward.
Detective Constable Claire James of Dundee CID said: “We are currently following a positive line of enquiry but are eager to speak to anyone who witnessed this, or anyone who was driving in the area at this time and has dashcam footage.”
Information can be provided to Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 2756 of 5 July, or reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
