Venues for England World Cup warm-up matches announced

  • England will play their final World Cup warm-up matches against New Zealand and Costa Rica in Florida, with venues now confirmed.
  • The friendly against New Zealand is scheduled for 6 June in Tampa Bay, followed by a match against Costa Rica on 10 June in Orlando.
  • These matches will allow Thomas Tuchel’s squad to acclimatise to the expected sweltering conditions before moving to their training base in Kansas City.
  • England's World Cup campaign in Group L begins on 17 June against Croatia in Dallas.
  • They will then face Ghana in Boston on 23 June and conclude their group stage fixtures against Panama in New Jersey on 27 June.
