Vans has created a special unisex collection to celebrate the life and legacy of late musician David Bowie.
Paying homage to Bowie's most recognisable personas and lifetime of work, the five-piece clothing and accessories capsule collection includes six trainer styles, three tops and two hats.
Each item of footwear takes inspiration from one of Bowie's best-selling albums, starting with a pair of Vans Classic Era covered in blue and green cylindrical shapes mimicking the album artwork of Bowie's first hit single, Space Oddity, in 1969.
The fuzzy checkerboard uppers on a pair of yellow edged slip-ons take note from the coat Bowie wore on the Hunky Dory (1971) artwork, Sk8-Hi Platforms encompass Bowie's alter-ego Ziggy Stardust and Vans' Old Skools feature the iconic red and blue lightening bolt from the Aladdin Sane album (1973).
The shoe collection is also accompanied by two matching kids styles, so that even the youngest of Bowie fans can get their hands on the collab.
As for apparel, two t-shirts are adorned with Bowie's most recognisable characters, Aladdin Sane and Ziggy Stardust. Another long-sleeved jumper pays homage to the singer through a striking black and white image of the man himself with the word 'Bowie' in red capital letters.
The Vans x David Bowie collection, that ranges from £28 to £90 is available for a limited time online and in select stores now.
