Van driver held at gunpoint over his Rolex watch

A man was held at gunpoint by two balaclava-clad thugs who stole his Rolex watch.

The man was preparing his work van on Willow Drive, Skelmesdale, at around 1.45am on Friday, November 12 ready for the following morning.

Whist sat in the driver seat of the vehicle two men in balaclavas approached him and pointed what is believed to be a small handgun.

The pair ran off in the direction of Kiln Lane after stealing a Rolex Watch from the victim.

DC Kieran Helps from Ormskirk CID said: “If you saw what happened or know anything about this incident at all, please get in contact with us.

“Similarly, if you have been offered a Rolex watch for sale like the one pictured, please let us know.”
