Neo Frontier returns to VALORANT with a 2.0 collection, introducing Western skins for Vandal and Shorty. Alongside the weapons, there’s a lasso melee to add some tension to the upcoming Competitive match.

VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle release date
Neo Frontier 2.0 is coming to VALORANT on July 30. As always, it’s a limited-time collection, and after it leaves the shop, it may appear in your daily rotation. Because it’s an Exclusive bundle, the skins from it won’t appear in the Night Market, so grab it while you can.
VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle skins and price
So far, Riot Games hasn’t revealed the price. However, original Neo Frontier skins cost 2,175 VP for a gun skin and 4,350 VP for a melee. Gun skin prices usually remain the same in 2.0 collections, but the melee price may be different. With Neo Frontier 2.0, Riot Games also launches a mega bundle, featuring Neo Frontier Sheriff, Marshal, Phantom, Vandal, Shorty, and Lasso Melee, allowing you to grab them all at a discounted price.

The skins follow the same Western design as the original bundle, with both old and sci-fi looks available on top of color variants (only for sci-fi versions). Old variants have more of a Wild West look, and while without VFX, they still have audio effects.
Regardless of which one you prefer more, there are new animations to make you feel like a true gunslinger. Shorty gets a flip pullout and reload animations, similar to the Marshal from the original bundle. The Vandal gets mag spin reload and inspect animations.
This bundle also introduces a one-of-a-kind melee: a lasso. As you’d expect from a lasso, you can spin it during the inspect animation and whip it with attacks. Some of the attacks resemble the Kuronami no Yaiba or Blackthorn Blades melees. Most importantly, the inspect animation has a unique music track, with different tunes for old and sci-fi versions.
Is Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle worth it in VALORANT?
Neo Frontier always had a distinct Western look, and the 2.0 collection definitely lives up to the expectations. You’re also technically getting two skins per gun skin, as you can choose to have an old or sci-fi look, depending on the upgrades, and freely switch between them even if you fully upgrade the skin.
The new melee feels like it should’ve been a part of the original bundle. While the sci-fi version does look a little bit like a garden hose, the music from the inspect animation alone can be worth it for you to ride into the sunset.
