VALORANT Kuronami 2.0 bundle: Price, release date, and what to expect

Kuronami 2.0 bundle brings the iconic collection to more VALORANT weapons, including Phantom, Operator, Guardian, and Ghost. The bundle holds the identity of the original collection, while introducing a few unique features of its own.

Here’s everything we know about the VALORANT Kuronami 2.0 bundle so far.

Kuronami 2.0 is coming to VALORANT with Season V26, Act Three, on April 29. As always, it’s a limited-time bundle, and after it leaves the shop, it may appear in your daily rotation. However, it won’t be a part of the Night Market.

The Kuronami 2.0 bundle costs 9,500 VP, the same as the original bundle released in 2024. Individual weapon skins are expected to be 2,375 VP, and the melee is expected to be 5,350 VP. Alongside skins, there are regular accessories, including the gun buddy, spray, and card.

Here’s everything included in the Kuronami 2.0 bundle:

  • Melee
  • Phantom
  • Operator
  • Ghost
  • Guardian
  • Gun buddy
  • Spray
  • Player card

As you might expect, skins in Kuronami 2.0 maintain the original design, with shinobi-themed models and water animations, including equip, inspect, and reload. The reload animation got an upgrade – instead of reloading the weapon with water, your Agent first creates a water shuriken, and then throws it back into the gun. Ghost also features a couple of animations similar to the Ayakashi collection.

Kuronami 2.0 continues the trend of transforming melees. Melee in this bundle switches between the kunai and katana forms. When switching from kunai to melee, your Agent extends the water blade and then shatters it into droplets when switching back.

Is Kuronami 2.0 bundle worth it in VALORANT?

Kuronami is an iconic skin line in VALORANT. If you liked the original bundle, Kuronami 2.0 should be a solid addition to your collection, especially if you want a skin for a specific weapon. The designs are the same, with a few new animations.

The main decider is the melee. Both kunai and katana forms have distinct designs. However, if you already have a katana (or a kunai), the melee in Kuronami 2.0 seemingly doesn’t offer much in terms of animations apart from the transformation itself.
