Valentine’s Day: Quirky bouquets you can send to your loved one

From edible bouqets to handmade bundles and Lego creations, the options are endless

It is that time of the year again when we start our race against the clock to find heart-conquering gifts for Valentine’s Day.

You might be shopping for your significant other or wanting to put a smile on your Galentine’s face. Or, you could be in your Miley Cyrus era, looking to hold your own hand and take yourself dancing.

Either way, with many wanting to step away from cliché gifts like heart-holding teddies and a bouquet of roses, brands have upped their game and created some quirky bouquets for the season.

Ranging from saucy sex toy bouquets to plush toy ones, here are some out-of-the-box bundles that are sure to show your love.

Pleasure bouquet

Durex and Ladygarden have collaborated to create the Pleasure Bouquet, featuring flowers and a sex toy (Durex x Ladygarden Pleasure Bouquet)

Durex and Ladygarden have joined forces to create a bouquet that combines romance and intimacy.

The limited-edition collaboration hopes to buck the trend of the results of Durex’s survey, which revealed that only 14 per cent of Brits are expecting to have an orgasm this Valentine’s Day.

The Pleasure Bouquet is a mixture of beautiful flowers, a vibrator, and Durex Play lubes.

You can buy it via the My Lady Gardens website for £50.

Biscuit bouquet

Biscuiteers is offering Valentine’s Day shoppers bouquets made out of biscuits (Biscuiteers)

Biscuiteers has a letterbox-sized biscuit with a vase full of roses iced onto it that could be the perfect gift for your sweet-toothed bestie.

The bundle comes with four vanilla-iced biscuits that consist of three rose cookies and a vase biscuit.

You can buy it as it is for £25 or spend £2.50 more to personalise it.

LEGO bouquet

Given flowers’ heartbreakingly limited lifespan, why not opt for a LEGO bouquet that will last as long as your love?

The time and effort you will put into handmaking it will be priceless. Plus, your special someone will get to keep them in their home forever.

LEGO’s brick-made bouquets will last for years to come (LEGO)

You can choose from a variety of LEGO bouquets, including succulents, orchids, and wildflowers.

The prices for the bouquet arrangements start from £44.99 or you can buy individual flowers for less to make your own bundle.

DIY cupcake bouquet

If you want to save some money, but also treat your other half to a thoughtful present, you could always DIY your own cupcake bouquet.

Whether you want to make it from scratch or prefer buying a cupcake mix from the supermarket, all you have to do is choose the flavours you want, bake the cupcakes, ice them to look cute, and secure them on skewers or lollipop sticks.

You can then wrap them with some tissue paper to make them appear more bouquet-like, et voila, you have your very own homemade cupcake bouquet!

Plush toy bouquet

Smoko’s plush toy bouquet might be the squishiest bouquet on the market (Smoko, Urban Outfitters)

Smoko’s fast-food plush toy bouquet is perfect for those who love a cuddly toy or prefer homeware gifts.

Sold at Urban Outfitters for £40, the bundle includes teddies in the shape of cheeseburgers, French fries, and cupcakes.

It’s wrapped up in an adorable bubblegum-pink bouquet cover and tied together with a bow, making it the ultimate quirky Valentine’s Day surprise.
