VADODARA: It was an embarrassing moment for the police when the Uttar Pradesh (UP) cops came to the city for arresting an accused. The man who UP police were looking for was allowed to leave by the Manjalpur police on bail on Sunday night. The city police have again begun the search for Harshil Limbachiya, a former student leader.
According to the police, Harshil was booked for cheating by the Manjalpur police recently. A resident of Gotri-Bhayli Road had registered a complaint against Harshil for not paying the full amount after buying a used car from him.
Harshil was arrested by the Manjalpur police and released on bail on Sunday night.
The UP police arrived hours later to arrest him as a complaint was filed against Harshil in their state too. But by the time the cops came to take his custody, Harsil had left the police station.
