AZAMGARH: Azamgarh police on Sunday claimed to have solved the mystery behind brutal killing of a woman by chopping her into pieces after the arrest of one Prince Yadav following exchange of fire.
According to police, Prince, with the help of his cousin Sarvesh, had strangled and then chopped the woman, identified as Aradhna Prajapati (22) of Ishaqpur village, into pieces.
He was upset after Aradhna's family married her off to another boy in February. The two were in a relationship for about two years, police say. Prince’s parents and six other relatives including maternal uncle, aunts, cousin sister have been accused in this case for hatching conspiracy and sheltering the two alleged killers.
