Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath hears people’s problems, assures them of fast disposal

GORAKHPUR: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath met around 400 people during ‘janata darshan’ and listened to their grievances on the second day of his visit to Gorakhpur on Monday. In the morning he performed ‘Rudrabhishek’ and prayed for the wellbeing and prosperity of the people.

During janata darshan, he met 150 people at Hindu Seva Ashram and 250 people at Yatri Niwas and gave instructions to the officials concerned for speedy action regarding their requests.

The chief minister stayed at Shakti temple in Gorakhnath temple for about an hour and performed ‘rudrabhishek’. On Sunday evening after returning from Kushinagar, the chief minister had inspected Mahant Digvijaynath Park and during his stay for about half an hour he sought information about the beautification and other proposed work from GDA vicechairman Prem Ranjan Singh.

The chief minister gave his approval for the unveiling of the statue of Mahant Digvijaynath and asked the officials to complete the work soon as the statue will be unveiled on September 23 on his death anniversary and it is likely that the CM will unveil the statue. “On the wall behind the statue of Mahant Digvijayanth, glimpses of his life will be depicted via murals,” GDA VC said.
