US-based cybersecurity firm N-able opens Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru

US-based cybersecurity firm N-able has opened a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru.

As cyberthreats evolve and AI reshapes the technology landscape, the move reflects N-able's commitment to helping businesses minimise risk, respond effectively, and maintain continuity, the company said in a statement.

This comes as rising geopolitical conflicts and data protection regulations have pushed enterprises to strengthen their cybersecurity. Companies like Proofpoint, Rubrix, and Securonix are among other US firms that have followed this trend.

By expanding global innovation and advancing AI-driven capabilities, N-able aims to help IT providers strengthen business resilience across the full threat lifecycle — before, during, and after an attack, the company said.

"Opening our Bengaluru office is an important step in how we scale true business resilience by investing in a market with deep technical talent," said John Pagliuca, CEO, N-able, in the statement. "India plays a critical role in helping businesses address cyber risk, compliance demands, and operational complexity, not only locally, but for global organisations looking to build resilience at scale."

The sector, however, is seeing a talent gap. A recent Careernet report found that India has nearly 39,000 cybersecurity roles lying vacant.

The Bengaluru centre will support engineering, product management, user experience, and security operations, the company said. It currently employs over 100 people, with plans to scale by 50% or more by the end of 2026, said the firm.
