US admits dozens of troops injured in Iran after claims it withheld information

  • Nearly 100 U.S. service members have sustained injuries since 7 July, with the Pentagon saying that most were minor concussions and 96 per cent have returned to duty.
  • The Pentagon disputed claims by the New York Times that it withheld the full extent of injury numbers, labelling such reports as “baseless.”
  • Iran's Revolutionary Guards have claimed responsibility for targeting Amazon's data infrastructure in Bahrain, though there has been no official confirmation from Bahrain.
  • Donald Trump pledged to make Iran pay “many times over” for the deaths of three American soldiers, as U.S. troops continued their tenth consecutive night of attacks.
  • Iran, meanwhile, issued a statement threatening to continue missile and drone attacks on “American criminals” for several years if the conflict persists.
