Urgent search launched for missing woman, 36, last seen near Oxfordshire quarry

An urgent search is underway to locate a woman last seen visiting a disused quarry in Oxfordshire.

Amy, 36, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is known to frequent the empty site and officers are growing concerned for her welfare.

She was last spotted near Quarry View Garden Care in Chinnor, Oxfordshire, at around 1pm on Saturday, August 30.

Thames Valley Police have not released Amy's surname but have called on the public to come forward with information about her whereabouts and any potential sightings.

Amy is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build and most recently had blonde hair, though she often dyes it.

She has three stars tattooed behind her left ear, a blacked out stop-watch and love heart tattoo on her wrist as well as a fortune cookie tattoo on her ankle.

Thames Valley Police is calling upon anyone who sees her to call 999 immediately. Those with information about her whereabouts are advised to call 101 or report online, quoting 43250444275.
