Urgent police search launched for vulnerable missing West Lothian man last seen in July

Police in West Lothian have launched a frantic search for a missing man from Whitburn who suffers from medical issues.

William McDowell, known locally as Billy Irvine, has not been seen since Friday, July 31. His last known locations was in the Loch Awe Way area of the town.

The 58-year-old is described as a white, 5ft 2in and has short grey hair.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance however he is known to frequent local pubs in the area.

Cops say his family are becoming increasingly concerned as William has not taken his medication for several days.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland at Bathgate Station via 101 and use the reference number 1621 of 2/8/2020.
