Urgent hunt for missing college student who vanished on spring break trip

  • An urgent search is underway for missing college student Jimmy Gracey after he vanished on a spring break trip to Spain.
  • Gracey, a 20-year-old University of Alabama student, was last seen at around 3 a.m. on March 17 outside Shôko Barcelona, a popular beachfront nightclub.
  • Gracey's cellphone was recovered by police during the arrest of another individual, according to his family's spokesperson.
  • The Catalan police force, Mossos d’Esquadra, has confirmed an investigation is underway into his disappearance.
  • His mother, Therese Marren Gracey, made a public appeal for information, stating he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark trousers, and a gold chain with a rhinestone cross.
