Urgent appeal to find man missing for three weeks

Police have asked the public to help them find a man who has been missing for more than three weeks.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned about 34-year-old Daniel Hayes.

He was last seen on July 17, where police believe he was in the Westleigh Park area of Leigh, but he has links to both Wigan and Trafford.

Daniel has been described as a tall, slim man around 1.82m tall with dark brown hair and beard.

He usually wears glasses and tends to carry a backpack and wear a baseball cap.

There is a tattoo of a rose on his arm, and a depiction of a Manchester bee on his right wrist.

Police shared the appeal on the GMP Wigan West Facebook page.

It read: "Police and family are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Daniel Hayes.

"Daniel has links to the Wigan and Trafford areas of Greater Manchester.

"Daniel hasn’t been seen since the 17th July. At this time we believe Daniel may have been in the area of Westleigh Park, Leigh."

Anyone who might have seen Daniel or knows where he might be has been asked to contact police on 101, quote the reference number MSP/06MM/0001242/21.
