Urgent appeal issued to find wanted man, 34, from Manchester

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help finding a wanted man in Manchester. Greater Manchester Police says Duncan Smith is wanted on recall to prison.

It comes after the 34-year-old breached the conditions of his license following his previous release. GMP has today (January 20) released a photo of Smith along with an appeal to trace him.

Smith has links to north and south Manchester, along with Bury, according to the force. A spokesperson for GMP City Centre wrote on Facebook: "Help trace a wanted man from North and South Manchester.

"Duncan Smith of Roseberry Street, Manchester is wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his license. Smith is known to have links to the North and South areas of Manchester and he also has links to the Bury area of Greater Manchester.

"Anybody with information regarding the whereabouts of Duncan Smith should contact police on 0161 856 3508. Alternatively call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
