UPTET Result 2026 Today? Check direct link and how to download scorecard in 5 clicks

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is likely to declare the UPTET Result 2026 shortly for candidates who took the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) earlier this month. Once the results are released, candidates will be able to access their scorecards on the official portal by logging in with their registration details. The examination, conducted between July 2 and July 4, witnessed a strong turnout, with more than 17.7 lakh aspirants appearing for the eligibility test that serves as a key gateway for aspiring teachers in Uttar Pradesh.

Once the results are published, candidates can download their scorecards by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official UPESSC website.
  2. Open the UPTET Result 2026 link available on the homepage.
  3. Enter the required login credentials.
  4. Submit the details to view the result.
  5. Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

Candidates are advised to rely only on the official website for result updates and avoid depending on unofficial sources until UPESSC formally announces the results.

UPTET Exam 2026: More than 17 lakh candidates appeared

According to official figures, 19,94,661 candidates had registered for UPTET 2026, while 17,70,714 eventually took the examination, taking the overall attendance to 88.77%.

The primary-level paper drew a better turnout than the upper primary paper. Attendance in the primary examination stood at 91.12%, while the upper primary paper recorded 87.25%.

The commission also relied on Artificial Intelligence-powered monitoring during the examination process. As part of the surveillance measures, 44 cases of alleged impersonation were identified.

Previous years show changing pass trends

The commission has not yet disclosed the qualifying percentage for UPTET 2026. However, data from previous examination cycles indicates that pass rates have changed significantly over the years.

For the primary paper, the qualifying percentage stood at 35% in 2018 before falling to 29.74% in 2019. It improved to 38.67% in the 2021-22 examination cycle.

The upper primary paper followed a similar pattern. The pass percentage was 33.12% in 2018, dropped sharply to 11.46% in 2019, and later recovered to 28.33% in the 2021-22 cycle.

Education observers believe the 2026 results may remain broadly in line with recent trends, though the final figures will depend on this year's evaluation process and official announcement.
