NEW DELHI: UP Warriorz (UPW) have selected Georgia Voll to replace Chamari Athapaththu for the remaining matches of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025, according to an official WPL announcement.

Voll, an Australian international cricketer specialising in top-order batting, has demonstrated exceptional talent early in her career, achieving a century in her second ODI match. Her international experience includes three T20Is, three ODIs, and one Test match for Australia.
The Australian player joins UPW for Rs 30 lakh. Her T20I career for Australia began in January 2025, with three matches under her belt thus far.
Her recent performance in the Women's Big Bash League 2024-25 season was noteworthy, where she played for Sydney Thunder, accumulating 330 runs with a strike rate of 144, securing the position of second-highest run-scorer for her team.
In the current WPL 2025 standings, UP Warriorz hold the fourth position, having secured two victories and four points from their five matches in the ongoing competition.
