LUCKNOW: UP boy Aditya Lathar has become the first Indian to be elected the post-graduate academic officer at Durham University in the UK. Lathar is the son of former leader of opposition of the UP legislative council, Samajwadi Party member Sanjay Lathar.
In the recently concluded byelctions to the post of PG academic officer, Aditya won with a resounding majority. There are about 40,000 students in the university of which 20,000 are PG students. He will be holding the post in the 2022-23 session," said his father. Lathar did his graduation from Delhi University before joining NUS and then proceeding to Durham University.
