
Corey Norman has announced his retirement from rugby league after 228 games in the NRL.
Norman confirmed his decision to quit after he failed to secure a contract extension with St George Illawarra for 2022.
In more than a decade in the NRL, Norman played for three clubs - Brisbane, Parramatta and the Dragons.
"It was a mad, best rollercoaster ever (over) 11 years," the 30-year-old told a YKTR Sports podcast..
Norman, who played one State of Origin game in 2019, had been reportedly linked to a move to Newcastle while a switch to Super League was also an option for the playmaker.
