University of Kentucky's Markey Center is home to precision medicine study

The treatment of cancer through genetic analysis of a patient’s tumor is an expanding form of care. A clinical trial is being launched at the University of Kentucky’s Markey Cancer Center. It focuses on the role of a molecular tumor board in furthering the treatment of cancer. Stu Johnson talks with Jill Kolesar with the College of Pharmacy and principal investigator for the five-year study.
