An alternative to the Nottingham Christmas Market has now opened up in Sneinton.
The alternative attraction, which is set up among the shops and pubs around Sneinton Market in the city centre, has been dubbed "A Very Sneinton Christmas".
It opened up for the first time at 3pm on Friday, November 26, closing at 8pm. It will also be open from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, November 27.
Visitors can expect to browse around a range of stalls, all run by local, independent vendors, offering up an alternative to the city's Christmas Market in nearby Old Market Square.
A statement on its Facebook page reads: "Not only will the retail and hospitality business’ be open around The Avenues but we have an incredible lineup of brands coming to join us too!
"An alternative Christmas market of incredible independent vendors, sustainably sourced décor, and festive artwork, all working to support local charities.
"We’re celebrating the best of Sneinton’s diverse heritage and creative community. You can expect artists, makers, musicians, food, drink, and everything in between, all distinctly local and independent."
It adds that visitors should expect a Christmas Market that is "uniquely Sneinton".
