Steel City Interactive has announced that the Undisputed 2.0 update is set to arrive on all platforms October 28. Community Manager Jeremy Shepard shared details on what players can expect in the latest update, including new fighters, some major venues and long-awaited features.
The update adds two free fighters to the roster. Sky Nicholson, who made history by winning the first-ever Women’s World Title in Saudi Arabia, joins the lineup alongside former Middleweight Champion Jake LaMotta. Known as the “Bronx Bull,” LaMotta’s gritty legacy includes six bouts against Sugar Ray Robinson, including the 13 round St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
Two celebrity fighters are also stepping into the ring, Grammy winner and former GQ Man of the Year Lupe Fiasco and British grime artist Bugsy Malone. Fans will also have the chance to compete in two of boxing’s most recognizable venues, Madison Square Garden and DAZN.
Undisputed 2.0 introduces several key gameplay improvements. Crossplay support will allow players across Xbox, PlayStation and PC to square off in the same ring, while a new lobby code system makes it easier to connect with friends on any platform. Players can also take their created fighters online for the first time, though stat caps and trait adjustments ensure fair competition. The update is rounded out with numerous gameplay tweaks and bug fixes, all detailed in the full patch notes below.
NEW FEATURES
- Crossplay: players can now choose to play against users on other platforms. This means you can now rule the ring with your friends on different platforms!
- Character Creator Online: You can now take your created fighter into the online ring! To keep gameplay balanced and prevent overpowered characters, each Character Creator fighter has a stat cap of 85, as well as a tier trait reduction.

- Recovery cutscene skip can now be triggered by one player in online fights. Pressing the skip button will now trigger a 5-second timer before the game continues into the next round
