Bolton Wanderers took a big step forward to being promoted automatically out of League Two with victory over Morecambe.
Ben Jackson's goal in first half stoppage time proved to be the difference in the encounter at the Mazuma Stadium.
The hosts had earlier been reduced to 10 men when Kelvin Mellor was shown a straight red card for an incident with Oladapo Afolayan.
The win puts Bolton four points clear of the play-offs with two matches of the season left to go and can ensure promotion back to League One next weekend with victory over Exeter City.
The team coach was also greeted by many Wanderers fans who had made the trip to Morecambe - and Ian Evatt and his player acknowledged their support after the game by applauding them from a distance outside the ground.
Members of the Wanderers squad have reacted to the victory on Twitter and the goal of being a League One club next campaign now being within touching distance.
