UN: Afghan pro-gov't forces killed more than 300 civilians
For the first time, the United Nations in Afghanistan has found that pro-government forces have killed more civilians than insurgents.
From January until March this year, Afghanistan’s pro-government forces and the US military contributed to more than 300 civilian deaths.
The UN says the Taliban, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), and other fighters, killed 227 people, although the number of suicide bombings and other attacks has fallen.
Al Jazeera's Charlotte Bellis reports from Kabul.
