House hunters have been shocked by a £1,746-a-month London flat where the tenant can cook oven meals from bed.
The 235sq ft flat is listed on Rightmove as a 'bright, spacious and newly decorated studio’ in Russell Court on Woburn Place in central London in the fashionable Bloomsbury district.
The mansion block listing boasts an open-plan living and dining area with a pull-down double bed, a bathroom and access to a 24-hour concierge.
The listing also states the rent includes heating and hot water and that the property is near an 'array' of shops and restaurants.
However house hunters have expressed shock at the close proximity of the oven and other kitchen appliances to the pull-down double bed in the centre of the room.
Some quipped the apartment would be perfect for breakfast in bed while others joked the oven would keep them warm during winter.
One wrote: "The ultimate breakfast in bed."
Another commented: "Don't worry about another blanket during a cold night, just turn on the oven."
A third wrote: "Leave the fridge open all night in summer."
Other critics have criticised the price of the property.
One wrote: "You can rent a whole house for that price. Silly money living in London."
Another commented : "That's better than my uni accommodation. Apart from the price and view."
Some critics justified the price for the central London location.
One critic said: "Might look nonsense and expensive but in fact considering the location it's not bad."
Bloomsbury and Kings Cross letting agents Frank Harris & Co. declined to comment.
