Ulrika Jonsson says 'stupid' Katie Price should be more responsible for Harvey

Ulrika Jonsson has said ‘stupid’ Katie Price should be acting more responsibly for the sake of her disabled son Harvey.

The former glamour model managed to avoid a lengthy jail term on Thursday when she appeared in court for sentencing after crashing her car while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, while already banned from driving.

There has been an outcry over her lenient sentence, and TV presenter Ulrika has furiously slammed Katie for her behaviour in recent months.

The mum-of-four wrote a scathing response to Katie’s sentencing in her column for The Sun, and said that it was a disgrace the model and author had managed to avoid jail time, despite being banned from driving six times in the last 10 years.

Ulrika said Katie, who is mum to five kids, should be acting more responsibly as she is mother to 19-year-old Harvey, who has a series of long-term conditions, including autism.

“Being a mum of a disabled child does not give you carte blanche to behave with such irrationality and stupidity,” Ulrika fired.

“I am the mother of a child with a congenital heart defect and I wouldn’t expect any empathy for my extracurricular actions just because of that,” she added.

Ulrika’s daughter Bo, 21, was born with a congenital defect that effects the valves and chambers of the heart, and earlier this year, she was rushed into hospital for tests.

The former Gladiators presenter continued her scathing attack on Katie in her op-ed, and said she was furious that the star had walked free from court ‘with barely as much as a tap on a surgically enhanced behind’.

Calling the reality star’s behaviour ‘damaging, erratic and delinquent’, she said she had previously had admiration for Katie, but her lack of responsibility has left Ulrika ‘cold’.

The presenter then hit out at Katie’s loyal followers, who have bombarded her with messages if she ‘dared to criticise’ the star.

Ulrika said there are ‘certain aspects about her personal life that cannot be disguised under a convenient veil of maternity’, and urged Katie to seek help.

She predicted that there would be another reality show focused on the model turning her life around following the incident, but she sincerely hoped the car crash would ‘bring about positive change in her life’.
