The UK's most popular Christmas markets have been revealed and Edinburgh has been crowned the winner for those looking for a festive break.
Oh, and for those who want to explore it there's good news as Edinburgh is one of the UK Christmas markets confirmed for 2021, alongside other hotspots that made the list such as Manchester, London and York.
Edinburgh's market is currently set to run from November 20 to January 1, with over 77 stalls selling everything from crafts and festive gifts to mulled wine and German bratwurst, as well as plenty of attractions such as a Christmas Tree Maze and Santa's Grotto.
New research by holiday search engine Holidu.co.uk unveiled the new top 10 list after looking at factors from a market's popularity on Instagram to which spots Brits were searching for the most when it came to the Christmas lead-up. The number of Christmas markets - alongside the main offering - were also taken into consideration.
Bath claimed the silver medal in the rankings, having long been a firm favourite thanks to its twinkling lights, bustling markets, carol singers and gorgeous architecture. Sadly this year the physical market has been cancelled, although there is a virtual event planned.

Third place went to Manchester, whose market is set to run from November 12 - December 22, although the exact locations and details are yet to be confirmed. (What we do know is there will be plenty of amazing food and drink on offer including Hungarian goulash, Spanish paella and hearty hog roasts).
