A British woman has tested positive for coronavirus at a hotel in Tenerife where hundreds of tourists were placed in quarantine last week.
The woman was confirmed to have the virus yesterday and is now in hospital.
It comes as the number of coronavirus cases in the UK jumped to 51 and Boris Johnson unveiled his battle plan to deal with the outbreak.
As Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced 12 more UK cases, the Government's plan to tackle Covid-19 suggested that the outbreak could lead to a fifth of workers being absent.
