UFL has released update 0.69.2, bringing a mix of new gameplay content, seasonal rewards and a new collaboration aimed at expanding the overall experience. The headline addition is Squad League, a new PvE mode where players take on AI-controlled squads built from other users’ teams or curated lineups. Players can choose both their opponent and difficulty, earning points and rewards with each match while progressing through divisions across daily and weekly cycles. Rewards are handed out at the end of each cycle based on performance.
The update also introduced Unboxing Days, a holiday-themed seasonal event centered on daily rewards and progression milestones. Throughout the event, players can earn Unboxing Packs that offer chances at Legend cards from previous UFL seasons, including names like Alessandro Del Piero, Franz Beckenbauer and Frank Lampard. The packs also feature special Talent cards and a selection of high-rated players from earlier Game Changers and Monthly League collections. Unboxing Days adds Michael Owen as a new UFL Legend as well, with multiple ways to earn his high-rated cards through event rewards and pack openings.
Update 0.69.2 also kicked off an in-game collaboration with Transfermarkt. The partnership brings a Transfermarkt-inspired presentation to squad building with in-game transfer activity shown through posts modeled after the well-known football news platform. UFL content will also appear within Transfermarkt’s official Instagram feed and players can view footballers’ in-game attributes directly on their profiles on the Transfermarkt website.
Alongside the new additions, the update includes a set of fixes and smaller improvements focused on stability and overall gameplay polish.
