UFC on ABC 4 play-by-play and live results

UFC on ABC 4 takes place Saturday and you can join us for live play-by-play and official results.

UFC on ABC 4 takes place at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. The main card airs on ABC following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.

In the main event, Jailton Almeida (18-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) will look to continue his surge in the heavyweight division when he takes on Jairzinho Rozenstruik (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC). The co-feature in North Carolina is a key light heavyweight bout that had been targeted for a different headliner. Another card’s loss is Charlotte’s gain with former title challenger Anthony Smith (36-17 MMA, 11-7 UFC) against Johnny Walker (20-7 MMA, 6-4 UFC).

Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Tainara Lisboa

Round 1 – Clark keeps tagging Lisboa on the counter here. Again and again. Clark shoots for a takedown, comes up short, but presses Lisboa against the cage. Three minutes left. Clark still controlling Lisboa here, but not much damage. Lisboa reverses the position with a little less than two minutes left. Knees by Lisboa to the body of Clark. Judo throw by Lisboa! She’s now on half guard. One minute left. Lisboa ends the round with top control.

Round 2 – Oh! Lisboa cracks Clark with a nasty right hand. Clark seems hurt. She now presses Lisboa against the cage, as she looks for a takedown. Clark gets it, but Lisboa gets immediately back up. Lisboa still pressed against the cage. They break away and Lisboa lands a good left hand on the break. One, two by Lisboa. Lisboa is looking sharp tonight. Big right hand by Lisboa. She’s picking apart Clark here. Two minutes left. Lisboa stuns Clark with a right hand. Lisboa non-stop pressuring Clark. Oh! Lisboa all over Clark. Clark closes the distance and presses Lisboa against the cage. One minute left. They get separated in the final seconds and then the bell rings shortly after.

Round 3 – Lisboa back to pressing Clark and landing big shots. Nasty right hand by Lisboa. And Clark takes down Lisboa! Clark working from guard. Nasty elbow from bottom by Lisboa. Clark is bleeding. Armbar attempt by Lisboa! It looks tight. Clark putting all her weight down on Lisboa. Clark escapes! Two minutes left. Lisboa scrambles out and is able to get Clark’s back in the process. She sinks the rear-naked choke! There’s the tap! What a debut by Lisboa.

Round 1 – Green comes out aggressive! He’s all over Battle! Battle catches him with a counter right hand and it’s over! Battle is victorious. Green is out cold.

Mandy Bohm vs. Ji Yeon Kim

Round 1 – Huge right hand by Kim! Bohm is wobbled bad. Kim presses her, but she gets taken down. Bohm now moves to her back. Bohm sinks in a rear-naked choke, but it seems Kim is good. Kim escapes, but Bohm now sinks in a triangle choke. It doesn’t look tight, but Bohm is working it. Three minutes left. Kim gets out, and now she gets Bohm’s back in a scramble. Kim now working the rear-baked choke. Two minutes left. Bohm defending well, but still stuck in the position. And Bohm gets out! She’s now on top of Kim. One minute left. Bohm landing ground-and-pound from top. She advances to side control. The bell rings.

Round 2 – Bohm immediately presses Kim here and walks her back to the cage. They keep reversing each other against the fence. Bohm back to controlling. Bohm goes for a throw but ends on bottom. Kim now on top in half guard. Three minutes left. Not much going on so the referee stands them up. One minute lef. Bohm connecting with a couple of clean shots. Nice leg kick by Bohm. Bohm gets the takedown but gets caught in a guillotine. She seems to be defending it well, but looks tight. Kim kicks off Bohm after the bell rings. Before entering the third, she gets a point taken away from for her bad conduct.

Round 3 – Kim immediately presses Bohm against the cage. She’s landing knees to Bohm’s thigh, but nothing much more going on. And Kim illegally knees Bohm to the head. The referee pauses the fight. The crowd boos. Bohm is shaking her head and looks in pain. The doctor comes in to check on a downed Bohm. Bohm says she can’t see from here left eye and is dizzy. The fight comes to an end. Kim gets a point taken away.

Stamann swinging, but unable to tag Silva de Andrade. More leg kicks by Silva de Andrade. Two minutes left. Stamann shoots for a takedown, picks up Silva de Andrade, and drops him to the ground. Silva de Andrade hist him with an illegal kick to the head. The refree stands them back up and gives Silva de Andrade a warning. Silva de Andrade ripping the legs. A takedown now by Silva de Andrade, but Stamman gets back up. The two brawl it out in the final seconds. The bell rings.

Round 2 – Stamann back to pressuring Silva de Andrade here. This time he’s landing much more than the first round. Silva de Andrade with good leg kicks till, but they dont seem to affect Stamann much. Oh! Silva de Andrade briefly wobbled by a big right hand from Stamann. Two minutes left. More leg kicks by Silva de Andrade. Stamann shoots and presses Silva de Andrade against the cage. The bell rings before he could get the takedown.

Round 3 – Good jab by Silva de Andrade. He seems to be more active here. Stamman again with the relentless pressure. Silva de Andrade has been too elusive and quick, Stamman pressuring him, but unable to connect clean on the Brazilian. Oh! Massive left hook for Stamman! Silva de Andrade dropped. Stamman all over him, landing ground-and-pound. Silva de Andrade seems to be recovering and ties up Stamman. Two minutes left. Stamman working from side control. Silva de Andrade gets back up. They’re brawling now. Big right hand by Stamman. Silva de Andrade with a left hook. Good one, two by Silva de Andrade. The bell rings.

Round 1 – Big right hand connects for Williams. Williams tries to go for the takedown, but Sherman defends well. They’re back to striking. Williams with a takedown and this time he gets it. Sherman does get back up almost immediately and is now pressed against the fence. Sherman breaks away. Good leg kicks by Sherman. Another hard leg kick by Sherman. Big right hand connects for Williams. Oh, Sherman briefly stuns Williams. Williams shoots a double and gets it. He’s now in side control. One minute left. Good ground-and-pound by Williams. Elbows by Williams. Sherman able to get back up right as the bell rings.

Round 2 – Sherman back to pressing Williams here. Both men swinging big, but neither landing clean so far. Big left hand by Williams. And a leg kick from Sherman buckles Williams. Another one. Man, those leg kicks are battering Williams. Williams goes for a takedown, but Sherman defends well. Back to striking. Oh and a big knee lands on Sherman’s groin. He goes down in pain. The fight is paused. After a minute, the fight resumes. The two exchange for a few seconds without landing before the bell rings.

Round 3 – Williams with three consecutive left hands! He’s snapping back Sherman’s head with the left. Another one. Low kick from Sherman buckles Williams. Good knee by Sherman as Williams went for a takedown. Williams now pressing Sherman against the cage. Sherman defends well and breaks away. Williams is tired. Good left by Williams. Big leg kick by Sherman. Another takedown defended by Sherman. Big left by Williams. That left just keeps connecting for Williams. Sherman is pressing him, but not landing much. Good jab by Sherman followed by a leg kick. The bell rings.

Round 1 – Big leg kicks here by McGee to get things started. More leg kicks. Brown throws some of his own, too. Brown throws a leg kick, McGee catches it and gets the takedown. McGee almost gets the back. Now McGee has Brown up against the fence while standing. Three minutes left. McGee pressing Brown here, but little damage done. Brown breaks free with less than two minutes remaining. Oh! Huge right hand puts the lights out on McGee. No follow up needed from Brown. Wow.

Tim Means vs. Alex Morono

Round 1 – Means comes out pressuring Morono here. Morono comfortable staying on the outside. These two throwing leather, but neither landing clean. Good shots to the body by Morono. Means having a tough time connnecting. Good right hand by Means. Morono got Means’ nose busted up a little bit. Non-stop pressure by Means. They throw down in the final seconds, Morono appears to get stunned on the bell.

Round 2 – Man, these two are throwing down. Morono gets taken down by Means. Means just briefly controls, as Morono gets right back up. Spinning back first missed by Moreno and Means goes for a takedown. And Morono gets Means in a guillotine choke! It’s tight. There’s the tap by Means. Good finish by Morono.

After a minute break, the fight resumes. No point taken for Walker. Smith pressuring here. And Smith gets dropped! Smith working for the takedown, but eating shots! He’s rocked bad. And Smith gets the takedown. Smith working from half guard now. One minute left. Smith gets reversed in the final seconds, right before the bell rings.

Almeida shoots and gets the takedown this time. Almeida working from half guard. Three minutes left. No damage from Almeida, he’s just looking to advance position. Now Almeida is opening up with ground-and-pound just a bit. The crowd boos. Two minutes left. Almeida gets the mount! He gets the back. Almeida sinks in the rear-naked choke! It’s over!
