UFC Fight Night 220 post-event facts: Nurullo Aliev makes history for Tajikistan

UFC Fight Night 220, which took place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, is likely an event the promotion will want to put in the rear-view mirror as quickly as possible.

Three fights, including the original headliner, were called off within 48 hours of the card beginning, resulting in a 10-bout lineup that saw Brendan Allen (21-5 MMA, 9-2 UFC) finish Andre Muniz (23-5 MMA, 5-1 UFC) by third-round submission in the makeshift middleweight main event.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $104,000.

Debuting fighters went 2-1 at the event.

Allen, Tatiana Suarez, Mike Malott, Trevor Peek, Jordan Leavitt and Joe Solecki earned $50,000 UFC Fight Night 220 fight-night bonuses.

The UFC sold VIP tickets to fans for UFC Fight Night 220, but the promotion did not make public the total number of tickets sold or the gate.

Betting favorites went 6-4 on the card.

Betting favorites fell to 3-3 in UFC headliners this year.

Total fight time for the 10-bout card was 1:43:52.

Brendan Allen def. Andre Muniz

Allen has earned 16 of his 21 career victories by stoppage. That includes six of his nine UFC wins.

Muniz has suffered all five of his career losses by stoppage.

Muniz suffered the first submission loss of his career.

Augusto Sakai def. Don'Tale Mayes

Augusto Sakai (16-5-1 MMA, 5-4 UFC) snapped his four-fight losing skid for his first victory since May 2020.

Don'Tale Mayes (9-5 MMA, 2-3 UFC) suffered the first decision loss of his career.

Tatiana Suarez def. Montana De La Rosa

Suarez (9-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) was successful in her return to competition for the first time since June 2019.

Suarez was successful in her women’s flyweight debut.

Suarez’s six-fight UFC winning streak is the second-longest active streak among female fighters in the company behind Valentina Shevchenko (nine).

Suarez has earned six of her nine career victories by stoppage.

Montana De La Rosa (12-8-1 MMA, 5-4-1 UFC) suffered the first stoppage loss of her UFC career.

Mike Malott def. Yohan Lainesse

Malott (9-1-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) has earned all nine of his career victories by stoppage.

Yohan Lainesse (9-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has suffered both of his career losses by stoppage.

Lainesse suffered the first submission loss of his career.

Trevor Peek def. Erick Gonzalez

Peek (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has earned all eight of his career victories by knockout.

Erick Gonzalez (14-8 MMA, 0-3 UFC) has suffered all three of his UFC losses by stoppage.

Jasmine Jasudavicius def. Gabriella Fernandes

Jasmine Jasudavicius (8-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has earned both of her UFC victories by decision.

Gabriella Fernandes (8-2 MA, 0-1 UFC) has suffered both of her career losses by decision.

Jordan Leavitt def. Victor Martinez

Leavitt (11-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) has earned three of his four UFC victories by stoppage.

Victor Martinez (13-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) suffered the first knockout loss of his career.

Ode Osbourne def. Charles Johnson
