Uber Eats to start delivering food to customers in Rainworth

Fast food delivery service Uber Eats is now delivering to customers in Rainworth.

Customers will be able to order from companies including McDonalds and local restaurants from the Uber Eats app, which is available in the village from Thursday, April 29.

The app is available every day of the week from 8am to midnight so no more trekking out for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

For local restaurants, the Uber Eats app will mean more business with more options for delivery and thousands of potential new customers.

Toussaint Wattinne, General Manager of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “We are really excited to be launching in Rainworth, firstly with McDonald’s, and a host of local restaurants joining in the coming weeks. We hope to make it even easier for local residents to enjoy a variety of delicious food both comfortably and safely.”

All deliveries made via the app are contactless, and Uber Eats has also introduced measures to help ensure that every courier can access PPE for free.

Uber Eats launched in the UK in 2016 and is active in most major cities and towns in the country.
