Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Tyus Bowser has yet to give up hope of playing this season after missing the first ten weeks with a knee injury.
In a recent interview with Morgan Adsit of FOX 45 Baltimore, Bowser spoke about his desire to get back on the field with his teammates.

The Ravens lead the NFL in sacks with 39 through the first ten weeks of the season, but that production has come without Bowser in the lineup. Baltimore has instead relied on late veteran additions like Jadeveon Clowney and Kyle Van Noy alongside third-year edge rusher Odafe Oweh to drive much of the team’s pass rush success from the outside linebacker position.
Bowser has spent the entire 2023 season on the Reserve/Non-football injury list with a knee injury suffered in the offseason. However, with seven games remaining in the regular season for the Ravens, the seventh-year linebacker still hopes to contribute down the stretch for his team.
“There’s still plenty of games left,” Bowser said. “My goal is to get back on the field. I’m doing everything I can right now to put myself in a position, not only to protect myself as far as my health but also to have a part in this team because we’re doing a great job. We’re moving in a great direction right now, and I’m excited for what the future holds, and I want to be a part of it.”
Since being drafted out of Houston by Baltimore with the No. 47 pick in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Bowser has accumulated 152 total tackles, 19.5 sacks, four interceptions, and four forced fumbles.
His best season came in 2021 when he led the Ravens with seven sacks.
