Tyson Fury set to earn huge amount for WWE appearance vs Braun Strowman

Tyson Fury is set to earn an astonishing amount to make his debut WWE appearance against Braun Strowman.

The Gypsy King has been making waves in the wrestling franchise after first coming face to face with 'The Monster Among Men' on Smackdown earlier this month.

Fury blasted Strowman a "dosser" after being goaded by the former WWE Tag Team Champion, and had to be held back by security.

Their rivalry has since escalated, wit the pair now set to fight at WWE's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on October 31.

And Fury is set to pick up a pretty penny for his part in the occasion.

TalkSPORT's Alex McCarthy cites a Mail report that Fury will collect a huge fee of £11.9 million to battle it out with Strowman.

McCarthy adds that he has asked his sources and they've agreed the figure is "in that ballpark".

Pretty impressive considering Fury's much-talked about heavyweight showdown with Deontay Wilder earned the Brit £2.5 million - which he gave away to charity.

Fury has become one of boxing's biggest draws since that controversial draw, signing an £80 million five-fight deal with broadcaster ESPN.

The Gypsy King said it was a "lifelong dream" to be involved in the WWE (WWE)

But he even suggested a rematch with Wilder could be put to one side if his WWE career takes off.

When asked if that was possible, Fury said: "There’s a hell of a chance of that."

Indeed, Fury even suggested he would be willing to take on the winner of wrestling legend Brock Lesnar and former UFC champion Cain Velasquez when they meet on the same card in Riyadh.

He added: "Who knows what lies beneath? Maybe Velasquez, maybe Lesnar."

After the WWE confirmed the clash with Strowman, Fury said: "This is something I've always dreamed of, I'm a lifelong WWE fan and this is a fantastic opportunity for me.

"I'd like to say how excited I am to be fighting the monster among men Braun Strowman. But me, being the undefeated lineal boxing champion, I fear no one.

"When I go to Saudi, I am still going to be undefeated, I am going to knock Braun Strowman out."
