Tyson Fury launches trash-talking bins to stop litter louts

Tyson Fury is installing bins that look and sound like him as he launched a one-man crusade to stop litter louts.

The trash-talking bins will shout at people who drop chewing gum on the floor, in the hope of knocking out littering for good on Britain’s streets.

The doppelgänger bins have been designed as an exact replica of his head, with a voice recording of the Gypsy King himself warning people to put their gum in his head instead of littering.

The boxer even visited his local streets of Morecambe to shout alongside his doppelgänger bins, to launch the scheme, with it hoped the bins will be placed in towns and cities all over the UK.

His voice rang out, from both him and his replica, calling out litterers for being “tossers” and “dossers”, urging them to pick up their gum and put it where it belongs – in the bin, which is shaped like his head.

The trash-talking bin bellows out phrases such as “Don’t be a Dosser. Put your gum in the bin”, “Things are gonna get sticky for you, if you don’t bin that gum”, and “Get that in the bin or I’ll give you something to chew over” - all pre-recorded by Tyson Fury.

People were stopped in their tracks when they heard voices growling at them to use a bin, soon to discover the local hero had been transformed into a trash-talking bin, leaving many shocked, scared, and surprised that they had Tyson to answer to.

The bin saw as many as 225 bits of chewing gum dropped in over the course of one day and, with 87 per cent of Britain’s streets stained with gum, it shows the public need a little fighting talk to get them to withhold sticking their gum anywhere other than a bin.

The bins were rolled out to launch Fury’s new Furocity Peppermint Energy Gum responsibly, which is available to purchase at Iceland.

He said: “I’ve already changed the energy drink game and I’m going to do the same with energy gum and destroy the competition.

“But people just need to stop being dossers and spitting their gum on the ground. You can’t walk anywhere without passing some on the street. That’s why my head was there for them to lob it in instead.”

Fury is back from Saudi Arabia after going out to support brother Tommy in his recent bout against YouTuber Jake Paul - which he won by split decision on Sunday night (February 26).
