'Typical!' - Kieran Trippier has got Spurs fans talking with early impact at Atletico Madrid

Former Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier is already making his mark in Spain.

Trippier, who left Spurs to join Atletico Madrid this summer, has provided the assist for former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata to net the first goal for Atletico in their La Liga clash with Getafe this evening (Sunday).

It is Trippier's first game in the Spanish top flight since his move from north London, and the former Burnley man is already having an impact, after he delivered the cross for Morata to head home in the 23rd minute of the game at the Wanda Metropolitano.

And his impact has gone down well with Atletico Madrid fans, although perhaps not so well with some Tottenham fans.

Indeed, his assist has got some Spurs fans talking this evening (Sunday) and bemoaning the fact that he was sold by the club, with no-one signed to replace him this summer.
