Fortnite just dropped Tyler the Creator into the game as a special edition skin, and the rapper’s fans are positively thrilled. Thanks to the efforts of many dedicated leakers, the Internet at large knew that the Chromakopia artist would be heading to Fortnite very shortly. Epic Games has dropped the preview for Tyler The Creator’s much ballyhooed entry into their current season of the game.
Folks saw the 7-second teaser of the Don’t Tap the Glass skin from the official Fortnite account and it was on from there. ( That’s from Tyler’s last release, a breezy dance oriented album that came out of nowhere earlier this year.) But, for fans of his Grammy-nominated 2024 effort, there is another option to choose from: The green Chromakopia uniform is coming soon to a round of the popular game near you. In addition, those of us who remember the Tumblr days can get loose in a more traditional Tyler getup, complete with his green hat.
NotPaloLeaks dropped the news during a Vice story a few days ago. Understandably, the Internet began debating whether or not we’d ever see Tyler in the game or not. Well, it seems we have an answer. It’s been a big week for the superstar, and apparently, there’s still room for surprises.
Fortnite teases Tyler the Creator

Estimates for the Tyler the Creator collaboration hover around 1500 V bucks. There are weapon wraps, backpacks, pickaxes , jam tracks, and emotes assumingly on the way too. Some cheeky videos online are already previewing what the in-game models look like as well.
The Chromakopia variants include the bedazzled green uniform and the less glitzy version. Meanwhile “Classic Tyler” has the artist with a green box logo hat and a GOLF shirt on. (He also gets a Simpsons style tweak as well, which probably delights this particular man to no end.)
Marty Supreme’s first trailer hit the Internet this week as well. Some fans who may not have been paying attention to the a 24 drama didn’t know that Tyler the Creator was going to be starring alongside Timothy Chalamet. In the retro-flavored piece, Timmy C plays a ping pong hustler. And, from the looks of that trailer, the rapper is one of Marty Mauser’s close friends and competitors. You’re going to see a GIF of Tyler the Creator and Chalamet dancing in the street on social media before the year is over.
So, yeah a big week for Tyler the Creator. Both on the Internet, and in real life, there’s been a ton to celebrate. Fans of the multi talented recording artist are more preoccupied with getting their hands on his fortnight character this weekend though. And it seems like any minute, the hysteria could break out in full force.
