Selling The OC star Tyler Stanaland has been spied getting close to a co-star - just hours after his Hollywood star wife Brittany Snow announced their marriage is over.
The 33-year-old former pro-surfer turned estate agent tied-the-knot with Pitch Perfect star Brittany, 36, in 2020 - but it was revealed on Wednesday that the marriage was over.
Tyler was then spied cosying up to his Netflix reality show co-star Alex Hall - on the same day that Brittany broke news of the split.
Tyler and 33-year-old Alex were spotted enjoying dinner together at sushi restaurant SOTA in Corona del Mar near Newport Beach, California.
TMZ reports an eyewitness revealing: “Tyler and Alex weren't overly intimate, but seemed more than friendly -- touching each other as they walked out the bar.”
They added: “Tyler can also be seen sniffing Alex.”
Photos from the restaurant shared via TMZ appeared to confirm Tyler was indeed sniffing Alex’s shoulder while holding her arm.
And it is also reported divisive British cast member Polly Brindle was also at the restaurant.
The source went on to claim that Tyler and Alex left the restaurant together and were seen “strolling down the street, side-by-side.”
TMZ went on to claim a source close to Tyler had denied anything was going on with him and Alex, that the pair were two of six enjoying dinner together, and that the whole group had been sniffing each other to compare perfumes and deodorants.
Hours earlier, Brittany announced to fans that she was set to divorce her husband.
Taking to social media hours earlier, she wrote: “After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate.
“This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.
“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
Fans of the couple may not have been too surprised by the news of the marriage’s abrupt end, as a key plot point of season one of Selling The OC - which landed on Netflix just three weeks ago - saw questions arise over Tyler and a co-star.
It was suggested a fellow estate agent had tried to kiss him during a night out.
While scenes showed other female cast members performing ‘a nose-y’ on him - where they would clamp their lips and mouth around his nose.
The scenes rocked Tyler and Brittany’s marriage, with viewers flooding social media to speculate it would have a negative impact on their marriage.
